Tamron has been on a roll lately, and we know there are several more lenses coming this year, thanks to Tamron’s financial results. Well since then a “rumor” about a companion lens to the Tamron 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD has surfaced, and digicame-info and asobinet both covered it so maybe there is something to the “rumor.” We are pretty sure this rumor isn’t true, but a Tamon 12-24mm f/2-2.8 or 17-35mm f/2-2.8 zoom could be very interesting. Regardless we will not have to wait long to find out.
Tamron is planning to announce a new large aperture wide angle zoom lens next week. This lens would be a great companion to the current 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD.
