The Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD is Coming in Spring 2020 and some additional details have been revealed. This lens looks super fast and you can see just how fast above 2:09 minutes into the video. Sony’s openness about its communication protocols seems to have really paid off.

• It will be light
• Removing 20mm from a normal 70-200mm saves 1.5lbs
• You can shoot it one-handed if you have to
