The Sony 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS fills a gap in Sony’s system that has been criticized by some Canon and Nikon shooters and it doesn’t disappoint. Many thought lenses like this would never come because they are too specialized, but the Sony 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS is finally available to order and I am sure many of us wish we could afford one and that we could justify the purchase.
While the Sony 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS is often paired with the Sony a9 for optimal performance the Sony a7RIII and a7III also pair very well with this professional lens. Sony has done a very good job of improving autofocus across their lineup and I would not hesitate to use any one of Sony’s bodies with this lens for fast action photography.
