Fotomagazinpaparazzi a retailer in Ukraine is offering a free Sony a9 with Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS for a limited time. The deal requires you to put 50% down and then pay the other 50% upon receipt of the lens, only then will they send you a free Sony a9. This strange promotion seems to be specific to the site and is probably just Fotomagazinpaparazzi playing with their profit margins to sell more lenses.
Sony is known for having a high-profit margin and I have been told by multiple retailers about Sony offering them ridiculous discounts in the neighborhood of 50% so this deal just might be legit. Maybe some readers can take advantage, but if you do not live in Ukraine this kind of deal might come with warranty claim issues. Maybe other retailers will put together similar bundles in the future, in which case the Sony 400mm f/2.8 will become a bargain.
