The Tamron 28-75mm Di III RXD FE is Tamron’s first native E-mount lens and Sony shooters seem genuinely excited about the upcoming lens. It’s designed from the ground up for Sony and comes with a new stepper motor designed by Tamron. Everything is designed by Tamron so this is a big commitment from Tamron to Sony E-mount. The future is mirrorless and Tamron wants to be in the mirrorless market going forward.
