Size Comparison: Samyang AF 24-70mm f/2.8 FE, Sigma 28-70mm, Sigma 24-70mm, Tamron 28-75mm, and Sony 24-70mm

Camersize comparison added the Samyang AF 24-70mm f/2.8 FE to its line up so I decided to compare it to a variety of f/2.8 zoom lenses that are marked to similar photographers, which you can manipulate here. The Samyang 24-70mm f/2.8 isn’t much smaller than the competition and it is a little larger than the slightly different Tamron 28-75mm and quite a bit larger than the Sigma 28-70mm.

I still think the Tamron 28-75mm is the best lens in this category, but it is good that there are now so many options on E-mount, but I am not a big fan of zoom lenses. Sure zooms are very useful, but I prefer to go with a prime lens 99% of the time.
