First Accurate Sony a7C Size Comparison With Fujifilm X-E3

Sony did an impressive job miniaturizing the Sony a7 design to fit it inside the Sony a7C so I did a size comparison over at FujiAddict. Sony engineering is second to none at this point getting within a few millimeters of a popular APS-C competitor and including IBIS. You can see the leaked photos and specs here, but what’s most interesting is how the Sony a7C and Fujifilm X-E3 compare size-wise.

The Fujifilm X-E3 is still lightest by 172g. The X-E3 is even a little taller than the a7C by 2.8mm, but the Sony a7C is wider by 2.7mm and deeper by 17mm, which is probably mostly in the grip to hold the Sony’s new large NP-FZ100 battery. Sony really did an amazing job with shrinking their camera and I can’t wait to try one out.
