Sony a99II Reviews and Sony 135mm f1.8 Discontinued?

Lots of Canon/Nikon photographers are taking a second look at Sony cameras after the announcement of the Sony a9 and now there might be one more additional detail to take into consideration. A user on the DPReview forums has reported that the Sony Sonnar T* 135mm f/1.8 ZA is being discontinued. Currently, this lens is in stock at Adorama, back-ordered at B&H Photo, with limited stock available on Amazon.

If Sony updates the Sony Sonnar T* 135mm f/1.8 ZA it would restore confidence in A-mount, which would then make the Sony a99II a camera to seriously consider. The Sony a99II is a better camera for professional photographers than the Sony a9 for a variety, the biggest of which is the beautiful image created by the 42MP image sensor it contains.
