Sony a9 Kai, RAW and More

Most of the really big Sony a9 details dropped yesterday, but The Last Word pointing out how the a9 drops to 12-bit in continuous mode and Gordon Laing’s hour long video review were probably the biggest. I’m curious if the drop to 12-bit is only at the most extreme settings, but I guess we will find out soon. Today two small RAW companies added beta support for the Sony a9 RAW files. They were also the first to add support for the Fujifilm GFX.

There are also a few late posts from after the embargo lifted that I included here, which were released after I stopped updating yesterday. With releases like this I do my best to included everything for you in one post instead of spamming you with posts like other sites.
