The Sony a9 announcement caused a lot of disruption in the world of photography following the news that Sony is now number 2 in the United States for full fame camera sales. It will be interesting to see if the a9 lives up to the hype, but at least there is some more nice glass on the way. Jason Lanier believes Sony will coming out with lenses like like the 200mm f/2.8, 300m f/2.8, and 400mm f/2.8 if they are making lenses like the Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5–5.6 GM OSS Super Telephoto Zoom now.
