Sony UHS-II SD Cards


Sony will release new high speed UHS-II SD cards and a USB 3.1 SD card reader April 24th.

Sony will release the SDXC / SDHC UHS-II card “SF-G” on April 24th. Lineup of 128GB, 64GB, 32GB. The price is open. The shop front estimate price is around 128,000 GB for 49,000 yen, 64 GB for around 25,000 yen for tax, 32 GB for taxation of around 15,000 yen.

Products nominally saying 300 MB / s reading, writing 299 MB / s. It is said that you can expect to release buffers when shooting high resolution still images and shorten the transfer time of 4K video files.

    Damn… finally. Now they just need to make the next gen E-mount, A-mount, video cameras with UHS-II to actually use these :-/
